MRM’s mission is to bring manufacturers together into long-term relationships that help provide convenient, environmentally responsible recycling opportunities to consumers nationwide.

Founding Companies

MRM was founded by Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba - all leaders in green electronic programs. These companies are committed to sustainable stewardship of their manufactured products. MRM seeks to provide a platform for all electronics manufactures and retailers to contribute to the development and management of a sustainable recycling system for electronic products. Services

MRM assists manufacturers and consumers to ensure electronic products are diverted from the waste stream and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.

Operations

MRM began operations in Minnesota in September 2007. MRM is the only manufacturer program that provides recycling service to all areas of the state, supporting 75 electronics recycling sites and numerous collection events.

MRM operations are gearing up in Oregon for collection of products required under the new state-mandated program to begin in 2009.

MRM's program in Texas is designed to meet the states convenience standard by combining retail drop-off locations and a schedule of collection events.

Future

MRM plans to expand operations to meet recycling needs across the country.
